Who We Are

VP7 PTY LTD (ABN registered, Australia) operates the VP7 ecommerce retention platform at vp7.com. We help online merchants retain customers through email, SMS, WhatsApp, loyalty programs, automation flows, and shipment tracking. As a merchant you are our customer — your end-customers whose data you bring into VP7 are your responsibility as data controller. VP7 processes that data on your behalf as processor only.

Data We Collect About You

When you create a VP7 account we collect your name, email, company name, and billing information. We record platform usage to improve the product and provide support. We do not sell this to anyone.

Your Customers’ Data

Through your store integrations VP7 imports your customers’ names, emails, phone numbers, order history, loyalty points, and shipment data. This data belongs to you. We store and use it only to deliver the VP7 service you’ve configured. We never use your customers’ data to train AI models, serve ads, or contact them independently.

Sub-Processors

We use Twilio for SMS/WhatsApp delivery and TrackingMore for shipment carrier lookups. Both are bound by data processing agreements and only handle data required for their specific function.

Data Retention

Account data is kept for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation. You can request deletion any time by emailing [email protected].

Cookies

app.vp7.com uses one session cookie to keep you logged in. vp7.com uses no tracking or advertising cookies whatsoever.

Your Rights

Access, correct, export, or delete your data from Settings in the dashboard at any time. For anything else email [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.

The Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the VP7 platform operated by VP7 PTY LTD (Australia). By creating an account you agree. If accepting on behalf of a company you confirm you have authority to bind it.

What VP7 Provides

VP7 is a B2B SaaS retention platform for ecommerce merchants: email, SMS, and WhatsApp campaigns, loyalty programs, automation flows, shipment tracking across 1,575+ carriers, and integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento. Features may be added, changed, or removed with reasonable notice.

Your Account

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep credentials secure and notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable Use

VP7 may only be used to contact people who have legitimately opted in to receive communications from your brand. You must comply with the Australian Spam Act 2003, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR where applicable. Prohibited: unsolicited bulk messages, illegal products, phishing, impersonation. Violating accounts may be suspended without notice.

Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel any time from your dashboard — takes effect at end of the billing period with no further charges. No refunds for unused time on monthly plans.

Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data in VP7. We claim no rights over it. Upon cancellation you may export your data and we will delete it within 90 days.

Liability & Governing Law

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, VP7 PTY LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is capped at fees paid in the three months preceding a claim. Governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

GDPR

General Data Protection Regulation — how VP7 handles EU data

Controller vs Processor

You (the merchant) are the data controller for your customers’ data. VP7 PTY LTD is the data processor — we process your customers’ data only as instructed by you through the platform, never for our own purposes.

Legal Basis for Processing

You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate legal basis to import your customers’ data into VP7 — typically consent (opt-in at checkout) or legitimate interest for transactional messages. VP7’s flow builder supports consent-based segmentation so every message reaches only opted-in contacts.

Data Processing Agreement

Merchants requiring a formal DPA (GDPR Article 28) can request one at [email protected]. Our DPA covers sub-processors, data transfer mechanisms, security obligations, and breach notification.

Sub-Processors

VP7 uses Twilio Inc. (SMS/WhatsApp, USA — Standard Contractual Clauses in place) and TrackingMore (shipment carrier lookup, limited to tracking numbers and carrier codes only). Full list available on request.

Data Subject Rights

When your EU customers exercise GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability), you can fulfil most requests directly from your VP7 dashboard. Contact deletion: Contacts → delete. Bulk export: Settings → Export. For assistance email [email protected].

Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach we notify affected merchants within 72 hours as required by GDPR Article 33, including the nature of the breach, data categories affected, and mitigation steps taken.

International Transfers

VP7’s primary infrastructure is in Australia. Transfers to sub-processors outside the EEA are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
